Financial Infrastructure

Planet Loving Money Solutions

Identity governed digitally, because financial services are now judged on screen — by people who will never read the specification.

Hitachi Payment Services — from the Alma Mater reel

In Thirty Seconds

Category communication for a payments infrastructure business, together with the digital brand guide, the UX, the UI and the web presence that carry it — moving the conversation out of technical specification and into everyday commerce.

The Situation

Payments infrastructure is built to be invisible. It succeeds when nobody notices it, which leaves the brand describing itself in the language of the machine room to an audience that lives in shops, on phones and at counters.

The work moved the category conversation into everyday commerce, then built the rules to keep it there: a brand guide written for screens first, and the experience and web presence that put those rules into practice rather than into a PDF.

Work of This Kind

The pattern transfers. The answer never does.

If this is close to the question in front of you, the next step is a conversation rather than a proposal — forty-five minutes to understand where you are and whether we are the right partners for where you want to go.
